How Pathetic
So, I am looking at all of your blogs thinking how adorable they all are. Lately I have been so computer challenged that I don't dare try to be too creative. That is only part of the pathetic. The other part of pathetic is the pictures posted of our recent trip to Carlsbad. When Blaine and I go somewhere, I take pictures, but he hates being in them. So, I try to take them while he is not paying attention. I noticed lately that Blaine is always on vacation, but I am nowhere to be seen. This explains why it looks like I took a picture of myself (which I did). I got so tired of not having any documentation that I actually have been on a vacation! Kylee did not go with us. She opted to spend a few days with my parents and her cousins. Sometimes an adult vacation is needed! We spent the majority of our time down at the beach doing absolutely nothing! It was not as warm as I would have liked, but it was so peaceful and relaxing. We ended up going to the Padres game, which was really fun, until the earthquake. Yep! That is right, earthquake! I was terrified, and the rest of the stadium erupted in laughter and cheering. I looked at Blaine and said, "Let's go! I am done. I want to go home!" The game went on. People were joking about it. I did not find it one bit funny. Needless to say, we did stay for the rest of the game. We were watching the news the next morning and they said the safest place to be during an earthquake is Petco Park! The stadium is built with all of these shock absorbers around it just for the purpose of earthquakes. Well, good for us! Apparently we did not feel the full force of the earthquake like the rest of San Diego did. THANK HEAVENS! Well, school will start soon. Our vacation time is pretty much over. :( I think a big fancy vacation with LOTS of pictures is in our future somewhere!

FInally Settled! (sort of)
Ok! I think things have settled a little. We have had a crazy couple of months. I will give you the short version. My job was in limbo, we had our house for sale, and everything seemed to be not working in our favor. I was pretty stressed from about February to the end of May, and I am just going to admit that I was pretty unbearable to live with. There is nothing like being unsure of what is going to happen with your income! Anyway, our house sold and we were not sure where to go. In fact once it sold, I was sad and wanted to tell the people that we were just kidding. In one day, things changed so much. My job situation got all worked out, we found a house, and life seemed to be working out. And that is pretty much it. We have moved (still in St. George) to a place where we can have a little more space. Kylee finally has some room where she and her friends can hang out. There are still some things to be done, like a backyard, but all-in-all we are loving it. I really miss our old neighborhood and the view in that area, but we will manage. Kylee will have to change schools, but it is pretty exciting. She will go to school right next to my work, and when she gets in high school, I will be there! She is not all that excited about this part, but oh well! I am! I will get to keep an eye on her! Blaine is doing great! Football, football, football! Go Flyers! I hope he can have a year like last year, although that is a pretty big wish! It will pretty much take a miracle for that to happen! Well, we can always wish! Right? OH! P.S. Please come and visit! We have room for you!

NEW PICS!
Yea for me!
I believe I actually have some new stuff to post. Kylee recently had her birthday (number 13) and she had a fun party at the park! She invited all of her friends and they were all so cute! They ran around, ice blocked, ate pizza and had cake! She had so much fun and has such a cute group of friends! Needless to say, I was exhausted after the party. Although my mom did most of the work because I was working all week! Where would we be without our mothers?! Anyway, here are some pictures of the eventful party!

One year later!
I suck at this! I told Kylee I would update. Nobody reads this anymore because it has been so long, but I told her I would. Too much has happened to update it all. In a nutshell, we are all doing well. Ky will be in 8th grade next year (AHHHHH!) She is still pretty sweet, so I guess the teenage angst is just around the corner. I am lucky it did not his sooner. We miss all of our friends and family, but it is way too warm down here to move back! Hope all is well!

Home Sweet Home
I Looked out the window and what did I see... SNOW! Are you serious? Now, I understand the first snow is exciting, but really, it was like an inch, maybe 2. No big deal, right? Not according to the school district. We had a SNOW DAY... NO SCHOOL! How ridiculous is that? There was absolutely no need for it. My car (not an SUV, not 4-wheel drive) would have made it just fine! Now we will have to make it up some time in April when the weather will be 80 and wonderful. These people down here have issues! I have never had a snow day, and last year I remember driving to school (on many occasions) pushing snow like a snow plow! It was such a waste. I would not be so bitter if we would not have to make it up!
However, because I have been sick, it was nice to have an extra day. It also gave Kylee some time to play with friends and make a snowman! So, not a completely wasted day!

What is THIS!!???
Are you kidding me? I went to great lengths to get rid of this stuff. I thought that I had eliminated this filth from my life! What am I talking about? SNOW!!! The Devil's dandruff! ICK!!! Today we got snow! The kids at school were excited about it. I, on the other hand, was in a really bad mood! Snow makes me cranky! I really was not in that bad of a mood, but it did put a damper on my day. It is actually kind of nice because it has been hard to feel like Christmas is coming without cold weather and snow. It has been pretty warm and very sunny! Blaine and I were playing tennis a couple of weeks ago. I am sure that my spirits will lift in a couple of days because it will melt before I know it! THANK HEAVENS!
